Now Hiring General Labors/ Waterproofers
- Work toward completion of daily projects by performing assigned tasks while ensuring company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines are followed
- Follow directions assigned by Foreman to bring jobs to completion at a pace to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality
- Develop and expand knowledge of proper handling of materials/tools, as well as approved methods of installation of waterproofing and foundation repair
- Assist Foreman & teammates with ensuring materials, tools, and equipment needed for each job are properly loaded into trucks/unloaded at job site
- Communicate with Supervisor regarding details of the job. Escalate concerns/issues appropriately
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations
- Adhere to regular and punctual attendance
General Laborers/Waterproofers should be able to:
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Work in confined workspaces that may require crawling, kneeling, crouching
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Perform activities such as carrying, climbing, pulling, sitting, stooping
- Operate and work on a Forklift, Boom lift and/or scissor lift
- Work in high locations
- Withstand working in different weather environments including extreme cold and heat
- Construction experience, preferably in commercial caulking/waterproofing
- Experience using power tools
- Understanding of plans/blueprints
- Verbal communication and listening skills
- Ability to write legibly and error-free
- Ability to complete physically intensive work and follow direction
- Mature, trustworthy, dependable

Now Hiring Project Managers
As a Project Manager with Strickland Waterproofing Company, you will be responsible for the full life cycle of various commercial waterproofing projects, including the planning and execution of project work plans, management of day-to-day office and field operations of projects.
- Prepare proposals, read and navigate blueprints, conduct take-offs, prepare bids, determine budgets, and review contracts.
- Collaborate with Estimators, General Contractors and other Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget while delivering the highest quality of work.
- Effectively manage crews, driving productivity, ensuring proper safety protocol are followed, and adherence to all company policies and procedures. Review timesheets for crews on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and time allocation to appropriate job.
- Review monthly internal reporting to ensure accuracy and manage profitability of the job.
- Partner with Accounts Receivable to ensure Schedule of Values are accurate and percentage of work completed is updated monthly. Ensure scope changes and change orders are processed in a timely manner.
- Develop talent by ensuring workforce is adequately trained in required safety training, and promote/support the completion of supplemental training (i.e. OSHA 10/OSHA 30, CPR, etc). Identify employees that have potential and provide opportunities for career advancement within
the company. - Identify opportunities to drive new business.
- Generate new and innovative ideas and suggestions to enhance our services and processes.
- Effectively communicate with Strickland Waterproofing Superintendents and Foreman on deliverables and expectations.
- Ensure that all local, state, and national building codes and regulations and safety precautions are followed.
- Communicate all project issues to the appropriate level of management immediately, including safety concerns or injuries on the job.
- Develop positive relationships with customers and owners.
- Effectively use technology (email, procurement software, estimating software, etc) with a focus on transitioning to more online management of projects and processes.
- Conduct business honestly and with integrity wherever operations are maintained. Maintains a mindset of protecting employee rights and the company when making decisions regarding workforce.
A qualified candidate will have demonstrated leadership and prior management experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to set and manage priorities are also requirements.

Now Hiring Estimators
- Assist in reviewing project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to determine material and labor costs.
- Prepare preliminary cost estimates and assist in the preparation of bids and proposals.
- Maintain an organized database of estimates, proposals, and historical cost data.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain pricing and availability of materials.
- Work with senior estimators to gather and analyze cost data from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure alignment between estimates and execution.
- Conduct site visits to better understand project requirements and constraints.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and pricing to provide accurate estimates.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus).
- 1-2 years of experience in estimating, construction, or waterproofing preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with estimating software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
